Discerning the Lord's plan for future ministry
Churches are made up of several elements each of which affects their ability to accomplish their mission. These elements include leadership, the external environment, strategy, and structure. Each of these dimensions of a local congregation will more effectively achieve the call of Christ for that particular congregation when they are aligned with one another.
Unfortunately, it doesn't always work that way. Many times a church's potential is hindered because these different elements pull in opposite directions. This workshop explores ways church leaders can use different dimensions as leverage points for developing a healthier and more productive congregation.
By speaking the truth in love, we will grow up completely into the one who is the head, that is, into Christ, in whom the whole body is united and held together by every ligament with which it is supplied. As each individual part does its job, the body's growth is promoted so that it builds itself up in love (Ephesians 4:15-16).
